It seems like Bomberman has been revived to PSP, now in 3D and better than ever!
First impressions are that it’d be like the same old PC game I’ve been fawning over, but turns out Konami has a few aces up its sleeves!
It now has a somewhat story mode; basically level-ish type of game.
You play as the amazing Bomberman. Somehow, these other people have come, and you must kill them! Pretty violent when you say it like that, huh.
You drop bombs near them, trying not to touch yet also place the bomb close enough to damage the enemy. There IS a timer, so you can’t leisurely drink a cup of hot chocolate while watching these weirdos invade your home. Also, you only have two lives to spare, so be careful. Make sure not to bomb yourself in the meantime.
There are also a lot of boxes which can be bombed. After being destroyed, these boxes may drop power-ups! You can become even stronger if you use them correctly. The screen on the left section (in the gameplay) has you covered on easily selecting and using them.
After ridding the area of do-badders, you have to go to the blue teleporter before time runs out to commence the next stage. And that’s all there is to it!
