|Game Name||Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road|
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road is a Fighting video game published by Atari released on March 20th, 2007 for the PlayStation Portable.
Review by DAReezan:
“Power comes in the response of a need, not a destiny” – Son Goku.
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai and takes place in an alternate timeline, focusing on Trunks as the main characters.
The roster in Another Road was expanded with the player now being able to choose one of the 24 unique characters that appear throughout the story.
The gameplay is basically the same as the first game with a very few tweaks made. The player can still use Aura Burn and Ki attacks as well as transform in the middle of a battle.
The main focus of this story is the revival of Majin Buu in the Future Trunk’s Alternate Timeline. Players will have to make different choices after certain fights in order to progress through the story. Having said that, you play as Trunks for almost the entire time so you’re gonna have to get used to his move-set whether you want to or not.
Dragon Ball Z fans will love this game and regular fighting game fans will find this a good play. If you’re both then this is probably the game for you. The game, just like the previous one, will sometimes pick up the difficulty so you might want to try hard in order to beat this game.
I give this game my Gamer rating of: Play it or Beat it
Shred it / Glance at it/ [Play it / Beat it] / Max it out
